Artist discographies should just display the main studio albums. The artist’s EPs, b-sides, singles, deluxe editions, and live albums should be in a separate folder.

I broadly agree, except as to live albums, which should be included with the studio ones. For many (most?) jazz musicians, live albums count among their “primary” albums. (I’m looking forward to the forthcoming live album from EST:
